They increase to Expert at level 11 which is far later than most other classes in the game. Witches, because they're full casters, have terribly weapon proficiency scaling. Unfortunately, if you choose to focus on using a weapon as a Witch, you're going to be having a bad time. ![]() It has a separate HP pool that is different from yours. Your familiar isn't connected to your HP at all. I don't know what you entirely mean by this.
